There is a bypass notch located on the rear of the tube for the rear cap "Finger" to index and "lock into", unfortunately this finger is not always indexed in the same location on every cap and as such there is no way for us to mark it on our templates. There are a number of ways this has been dealt with in the home build community ranging from removing the finger completely (This is most common on RID tubes) to "J" cutting the bypass (to do this you have to use some skill to both measure the length of your finger and visualize its location in relation to your tube and then cut the "J" bypass as needed) as well as one of the more common methods I have seen is to round off the nub located on the finger and drill a single hole (again as measured and index according to your specific cap's finger placement) that it "Clicks into" when the cap is inserted into and seated in the tube. (The "J" Hook was the original way but I have seen the single hole method pick up favor in recent years)
