Custom Barrel Profiling Information and Requirements
The following are some specifications that would apply to any barrel blanks/cut barrels that you might be considering for reprofiling by HBA
Barrels can be done in original length (NFA APPLIES) or as a 16.25 carbine barrel (including or excluding and permanently attached muzzle devices)
PPS-43/48: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: .530 at the muzzle end / .650 at the chamber end (To be turned as a lip-less barrel) or .860 to be made as a lipped barrel
PPSH-41: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: .905 at the chamber end and a minimum of .550 at the muzzle end
Berretta 38a: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: .700 at the chamber end and a minimum of .600 at the muzzle end
16inch AMD Barrel: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: .915 at the trunnion for 1.5 inches, then a minimum of .750 for 15 inches (To the finished muzzle length)
Sten MKIII: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: a minim diameter of .725 through out the length desired - either the original length or a custom length (plus .200 inches for muzzle facing))
Sten MKII/V: Blank needs to be a minimum of the following: 1.110 at the chamber end for 2.0 inches, then a minimum of .710 for the remainder of the desired length - either the original length or a custom length (plus .200 inches for muzzle facing))
